I am a Puerto Rican academic, born in San Juan and raised in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. My research focuses on inequality, comparative and international political economy, politico-economic networks, socioeconomics, Latin American, and Puerto Rican politics.
In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, music, learning languages, and playing board and strategy games (e.g., Civilization VI, Cities:Skylines).
I received my PhD in Political Science in 2023, and an M.S. in Applied Statistics in 2019, both from Indiana University — Bloomington. I also received an M.A. in Political Economy from New York University in 2014, and my B.A. in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico — Río Piedras Campus in 2011.
